What is the Agent Charitable Fund?

As many of you saw at the Multi-Line Marketing Convention, we recently launched the Agent Charitable Fund! A group of motivated Farm Bureau agents developed the fund to give back to their communities and knew the good the Family of Companies could do for the residents of Michigan.

How does it work?

The ACF is a designated fund with in the Michigan Foundation for Agriculture to support a wide array of projects related to food, agriculture, education, and children. We are led by 10 regional agents, three at-large agents, and two managing partners. Like the Foundation’s mission, to positively contribute to the future of Michigan agriculture through leadership and educational programming, the ACF is the perfect fit to bring hunger solutions to the state of Michigan!

End Hunger in MI

The main goal of the fund is its mission – end hunger in Michigan. The problem is simple; hunger. With 15 percent of Michigan residents and 18 percent of all children considered food insecure, ACF seeks to aid approximately 3,000 hunger-relief agencies across Michigan.

We have had more than 150 dedicated agents pledge over $500,000, and well on our way to our goal of $750,000 by the end of 2018 to make sure our friends and neighbors do not have to worry about where their next meal is coming from.
