On September 6 the Bay Thumb-region held a golf outing at the Sugarbush Golf Club in Davison to raise money for the Agent Charitable Fund. With participation from 15 foursomes, the outing raised more than $8,000 to end hunger in Michigan.

“We had a great day with great people for a great cause,” said Steve Ellis, ACF committee member and co-organizer of the event.

Winners of the outing were Chaz Pray, David Zavatsky, Jim Carney and Rick Moorehouse with Chemical Bank.

“The Bay-Thumb region is looking forward to having many more successful ACF events in the future,” added John Aird, co-organizer and committee member.
